Presenters will cover local installations of 10kW wind turbines and the new Mackenzie Bay wind turbine installation in Ishpeming, MI.

Integrating Wind Power into the Electric Power System
Dr. Ed DeMeo, President, Renewable Energy Consulting Services, will present on the economics, variability factors, capacity contributions, and environmental considerations. Tom Stanton, Michigan Public Service Commission, will present on utility integration issues facing Michigan.

Financing Projects Small Wind Projects
Dr. Lynn Hamilton, Michigan State University, will present on possible funding sources for small wind turbine projects such as the USDA Farm Bill 9006 and state funding.

Large Wind Case Study
Kevin Maynard, Director of Utilities for the City of Bowling Green, Ohio, will present on Ohio's first wind farm. The Bowling Green Wind Turbines have a capacity of 7.2 MW.
