Recap of 2006 Michigan Energy Fair

The First Annual Michigan Energy Fair, held on June 16-18, 2006 at the Manistee County Fairgrounds in Onekama, MI was a smashing success!

The event:

  • Educated 2500 attendees
  • Received 26 sponsorships
  • Received participation from 63 exhibitors
  • Featured four homes/businesses on the *SOLD OUT* Renewable Energy home tour
  • Featured a fantastic tour of the NOAA research vessel, the Huron Explorer, with transportation provided by the BATA hybrid bus
  • Highlighted four keynotes and over 50 workshops

On behalf of the GLREA, in partnership with the Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Growth and Manistee County, we thank all who contributed to the success of the Michigan Energy Fair!
